Make Your Own TLS Ketchup!

Most people do not realize that spices can make a tasteless recipe into a delicious masterpiece! Cooking with spices has been know to add flavor and even some health and fat promoting benefits!  We know, to most people, ketchup is something that goes hand-in-hand top many meals, especially a lean hamburger or even a batch of sweet potato french fries.  But, by adding spices, you can create your own TLS approved ketchup that is free of trans-fats and other unhealthy additives.

Ketchup

  •  6 oz. no-salt-added tomato paste
  • 1⁄2 cup water
  • 2 oz. rice vinegar
  • 5 tsp stevia
  • 1⁄4 tsp onion powder
  • 1 TBSP salt
  • 1/8 ground cloves
  • 1/8 cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
    Mix all ingredients well. 

 

Makes 1 1/3 cups.
