Seasonal Fruits + Vegetables for March

March marks the end of cold, winter days and the beginning of spring, even if it doesn’t quite feel like it yet! With spring just around the corner, there’s a lot of new seasonal produce available at their best quality and prices! They are packed with minerals and vitamins such as calcium, magnesium, vitamin A, C, and K! Check out our favorite seasonal fruits and vegetables for the month of March and see which dishes could use a fresh spring twist!

When it comes to our food, March is an interesting month. You’ll still find the tail end of winter produce still available in supermarkets during early March.  Then, later in the month, early spring produce makes its entrance onto the scene. This might be when local Farmer’s Markets start popping up, too! Here are some springtime favorites to keep an eye out for, especially when you can grab them fresh + local:
